Own local SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy for a portfolio of client accounts across industries — bakeries, restaurants, tattoo shops, home restoration, cleaning, carpet cleaning, propane delivery, and auto repair shops.
Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles — categories, attributes, posts, Q&A, photos, and review response strategy — to drive calls, direction requests, and bookings.
Build and execute local landing page and citation strategies that win map pack rankings in competitive local markets.
Monitor how client businesses surface in AI-driven search and LLM discovery (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews) and optimize content to improve visibility there.
Conduct keyword research, local competitor audits, and technical SEO reviews to identify fast-moving ranking opportunities.
Report on rankings, call volume, and visibility gains in clear, transparent monthly client reports — no vanity metrics, just real numbers.
Collaborate with our content, PPC, and web teams to keep every client's local presence firing on all cylinders.
1-3+ years of hands-on experience in local SEO and GEO using Search Atlas.
Proven track record improving Google Maps/local pack rankings and Google Business Profile performance.
Working knowledge of citation building, schema markup, and on-page local SEO fundamentals.
Familiarity with how AI/LLM search surfaces local businesses (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews) is a major plus.
Sharp analytical instincts — you read a ranking report and immediately know where the opportunity is.
Clear, confident communicator who can explain strategy and results to small business owners in plain English.
